Bob Gingras & Mark Thomsen Named Members of the American Board of Trial Advocates

Gingras, Thomsen & Wachs, LLP would like to congratulate attorneys Mark Thomsen and Bob Gingras as they have been named members of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA)!

The ABOTA is a national organization for judges and experienced, practicing trial lawyers that are dedicated to preserving and promoting the civil jury trial right provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Membership of this national board is by invitation only and is limited to civil trial attorneys. The ABOTA carries much prestige among attorneys, legislators, and judges when selected as a member.

We are proud and honored to have Bob and Mark as part of the Gingras, Thomsen & Wachs, LLP team!

Attorney Wickstrom Elected Treasurer for the W.A.J.

Attorney Beverly Wickstrom has been elected Treasurer of the Wisconsin Association for Justice.

“I am thrilled and humbled that my colleagues would select me for this position. I am committed to serving injured people both in my practice through my work with the W.A.J.”, said Wickstrom.

The Wisconsin Association for Justice is Wisconsin’s largest voluntary bar association. In addition to preserving access to the civil justice system, one of W.A.J.’s principal objectives is working with government entities to advocate for the legal rights of all Wisconsin citizens.

Wickstrom added, “We help families who are struggling everyday and to be able to serve an organization that is dedicated to helping attorneys and ordinary folks throughout this great state is a dream come true.”

Attorney Wachs Selected to Wisconsin Super Lawyers

Attorney Dana Wachs was selected to Wisconsin Super Lawyers in 2015 for the fifth year in a row.

According to their website, Super Lawyers is “a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.”

Being selected to Super Lawyers is a prestigious honor. Only 5 percent of the attorneys who are nominated are selected.

Attorney Dana Wachs Named 2014 Super Lawyer

Attorney Dana Wachs has built a reputation for helping people in need. Now he’s been named one of the best of the best.

Wachs who is a partner in the law firm of Gingras, Cates and Wachs has been named to the Wisconsin Super Lawyers list for 2014. Only five percent of Wisconsin attorneys are chosen each year from around the state. Candidates are nominated by their fellow attorneys and then chosen by an independent research team at Wisconsin Super Lawyers.

“It is an honor to be recognized by my peers in law”, Wachs said.

As a partner with Gingras, Cates and Wachs, Attorney Wachs concentrates on personal injury litigation, medical malpractice and product liability cases. Mr. Wachs is a graduate of Marquette University and received his law degree from Valparaiso University. He has practiced locally in Eau Claire for more than 25 years.

GTW Attorneys Named 2014 Wisconsin Super Lawyers & Rising Stars

We are honored to have five Gingras Thomsen Wachs (GTW) attorneys recognized by Wisconsin Super Lawyers. Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process is multi-phased and includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. Only five percent of Wisconsin attorneys received this honor. Rising Stars recognize the top 2.5 percent of the up-and-coming attorneys in the state who are 40 years old or younger. The survey is conducted in 48 states.

Attorney Robert J. Gingras was recognized in 2014 for the practice areas of Class Action/Mass Torts and Employment Litigation: Plaintiff. Gingras has been been recognized by Wisconsin Super Lawyers every year since since 2006.

Attorney Michael J. Luebke was recognized in 2014 for the practice areas of Class Action/Mass Torts and Personal Injury Medical Malpractice: Plaintiff. Luebke has been been recognized by Wisconsin Super Lawyers every year since since 2006.

Attorney Paul A. Kinne was recognized in 2014 for the practice area of Personal Injury General: Plaintiff. Kinne has been been recognized by Wisconsin Super Lawyers every year since since 2009 and Rising Stars in 2006 and 2007.

Attorney Heath Straka was recognized in 2014 for the practice areas of Class Personal Injury General: Plaintiff and Personal Injury Medical Malpractice: Plaintiff. Straka was also selected to Rising Stars 2006-2012.
